Overview

At Dulaney Mobile, we strive to provide exceptional mobile app development services and ensure client satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be provided for our services. Due to the custom nature of our development work, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis according to the specific circumstances of each project.

Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on several factors including the stage of project completion, the reason for the refund request, and the specific terms outlined in your project agreement. We evaluate each refund request individually to ensure fair treatment for both our clients and our business.

Pre-Development Phase

If you request a cancellation before development work has begun, you may be eligible for a full refund of any payments made, minus any consultation fees or project setup costs that have already been incurred. This typically applies within 48 hours of signing the project agreement.

During Development

Once development work has commenced, refunds are calculated based on the work completed up to the cancellation date. You will be charged for all completed milestones and any work in progress. Partial refunds may be available for future milestones that have not yet been started.

Non-Refundable Services

Certain services and costs are non-refundable due to their nature or because they represent work that has already been completed. These include consultation fees, project planning and analysis, completed development milestones, third-party service fees, and any custom work that has been delivered and approved.

Non-Refundable Items Include:

  • • Completed development milestones
  • • Third-party service costs (hosting, app store fees, etc.)
  • • Custom design work that has been approved
  • • Time spent on project research and analysis
  • • Any delivered and accepted project components

Refund Process

To request a refund, you must contact us in writing with a detailed explanation of the reason for your refund request. We will review your request within 5-7 business days and provide a written response outlining our decision and any applicable refund amount.

Required Information

When requesting a refund, please provide your project agreement number, a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund request, documentation of any issues or concerns, and your preferred method of refund (original payment method or alternative).

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days of approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon. Please note that depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

Project Modifications vs. Cancellations

We understand that project requirements may change during development. Before requesting a cancellation and refund, we encourage clients to discuss potential project modifications with our team. In many cases, we can adjust the project scope to better meet your needs without requiring a cancellation.

Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision, we encourage you to contact us to discuss the matter further. We are committed to finding fair solutions for all parties involved. If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, disputes may be subject to the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our Terms of Service.

Maintenance and Support Refunds

Maintenance and support services are typically billed monthly and are non-refundable once the service period has begun. However, you may cancel ongoing maintenance services at any time, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
